I spray painted this, once boring, basket from Goodwill a pretty shade of light blue, to create a cute little Easter egg basket. All I did was cut some strips of burlap I had on had to make bows, filled it with moss and added the faux eggs. Simple stuff!
After Easter, it’s going to be displaying more goodies for Spring! I’d say it’s $1.99 well spent!

Another item from the decor aisle at Goodwill gets repurposed for my gazebo!
There are so many items to repurpose for planters, other than in the garden section. I just make sure there is space for water to drain and then I start thinking how I’m going to repurpose it into a planter. It makes outdoor decor a bit more interesting!

The weather is fabulous here in Phoenix so I’ve been planting flowers and succulents to spruce up the back patio.
While in the housewares section of Goodwill, I spotted this hanging wire basket for fruit. I thought it would be perfect for flowers, to hang in my gazebo.
First, I filled it with decorative sheet moss, then filled it with succulents and topped them off with potting soil.
I loved the way it turned out! It’s exactly the change my gazebo needed!

I’ve used this dessert Trifle Bowl from Goodwill again and again for everything but a dessert.
It was so simple to create. I just went to my backyard for a tree branch, stuck it in some florist foam, then added some Easter decor I already had on hand to create an Easter centerpiece display.
This trifle bowl for $4.99 has been one of the best “decor” items I’ve bought from Goodwill! I’ve repurposed it throughout my home.

While sifting through the Easter decor section of Goodwill, I found this little bag of wooden bunnies.
It wasn’t easy to see what I was going to get in the bag since they were packed in there but when I brought them out at home, they were all so adorable.
I set them on THIS Goodwill tray I already had on display for Spring and they all fit quite perfectly.

I found these new moss balls at Redesign by Goodwill. Not only did I like their quality, I loved their price!
I love to add greenery inside my home, whether silk or real, so I grabbed my lavender party turned galvanized tub, added some burlap around it for texture, then filled it with some low maintenance real plants.
With just a few easy switches with finds from Goodwill my fireplace looks clean and simple and is fit for Spring!

A couple days ago, I spotted this little beauty at Goodwill of Central Arizona for $9.99. Could I just take the photo and walk on by? Nooooo, that would be too easy, I packed it in the back seat of my car and brought it home with me! I just couldn’t resist it’s cuteness and it’s price.
Now, do you think I should leave it “as-is”? Or should I paint it and change the fabric?
