My House of Goodwill: Hockey Week
This is my one last ditch effort to cheer the Phoenix Coyotes on while they play the LA Kings!
This week I’ve shared some items I’ve found at Goodwill to use in my house of hockey, like the perfect hockey themed shelf from Goodwill that holds a collection of miniature Zambonis a hockey stick storage rack, another find from Goodwill. Today I have one more hockey piece to share.
This idea came from a page out of Pottery Barn Teen. In the right hand corner in the above photo I spotted a stand with some hockey gear displayed on it. I thought something like that would be perfect for my littlest hockey player.
To recreate this stand, I found a small coat rack at Goodwill for $5.99, spray painted it black and handed it over to my son and he took over from there.
Some days when I go into his room he has his hockey jerseys hanging from it, other days it alternates from hockey player to football player. It’s the best $6.00 I ever spent for entertainment, his and mine.
For the past few months the stand has been a Coyote player and tomorrow I may or may not place him in front of the t.v. screen so he is front and center to cheer his team to victory!
I know, I know, we are that crazy about hockey, but it’s what we do!
Let’s Go Coyotes!!!
