I’m adding my Master Bedroom to my Home Tour for Christmas along with my room model, Stevie, our Golden Retriever.
For this room, I like to keep things simple all year round. When I walk into my bedroom I want it whisper peace and calm, we don’t even have a television in here! There are some big windows in here and they let in a lot of natural light and I love it, I rarely clothes the curtains.
I have add a few simple touches to keep in the spirit of the season. I hope to one day have a Christmas tree in here too! I’ve been waiting for the right one to come along from Goodwill or my thrifting adventures.

The color and tones of this room are all neutral so when I add a bit of red from the pillowcase and pillows, it really stands out!
I have many, many fake pine trees in my Christmas decoration arsenal, so this year I brought two in here, they’re perfect for the nightstands. I love trees because they are simple and fill up a lot of space, they can be dressed up or kept plain and either way they are perfect for a winter scene.
I love fur blankets and fur rugs, so of course I had to add a fur throw blanket in here. Up until last night we’ve slept with a coverlet but the temps. went down and we had to bring out the big guns and use the down filled duvet. This is Arizona so it won’t last long so I love the cooler weather. We also have a fireplace, which only get a few uses each year, but adds a touch of elegance to the room and I LOVE it!
