Last week I attended Highland Yard Vintage with my friend Steph.
It’s a great places to find vintage items, handmade items and all lot of really good junk!
I spotted these sconces and thought they were perfect for my home, I just didn’t know where quite yet when I was buying them. I just loved them and had to bring them home!
$69.99 for these two metal and wood beauties.
I decided they were perfect for the front entry and enlisted my husband to help me hang them.
They fit perfect on each side of this niche.
On a side note, the framed monogrammed was a little project I put together about 6 years ago. Originally it was a gold frame I found at Goodwill, I spray painted the entire print, included the angels in the photo, in a cream color. I found a person on-line to make the custom vinyl “G” with the year my husband and I were married are in there as well.
See the original monogram in gilded gold, HERE.
This is the decor for now, it might change next week if I get bored.
Here’s the entry way, and Stevie, before the sconces arrived.
I think the sconces add a little bit more drama to the space and are quite at home.
Here’s the entry, and Stevie, with the new sconces in place.
Have you been junking lately? I’d love to see some photos of your latest finds.
‘till next time,
Lisa

Hi Lisa! I absolutely love your sconces and your monogram – so pretty. I also like where you put them. Your dog is so cute and I love his name 🙂
I picked up a couple of scores recently – a vintage 1950’s Samsonite suitcase I found free by the side of the road, and a 1961 Pyrex casserole with a turquoise leaf for $2.00 at Goodwill. I wanted to attach pictures but can’t figure out how 🙁

Thanks! The sconces are still hanging there with no candles…someday. 🙂
