There’s a new puppy in My House of Goodwill and her name is Stevie.
She’s a Golden Retriever and has been growing like crazy since we brought her home.
With Stevie in our home now, I’ve been noticing all the products for dogs at Goodwill I’ve looked past on my visits before we got this pup.
I’ve found some new dog beds, with a removable cover, which is a plus with all of the mud she has been bringing in lately. I’ve spotted some kennels, both large and small and a crazy amount of clothes for dogs, including skirts and even a leopard print vest!
We’ve been training her to stay in a kennel, but with all the crying she does I don’t see that lasting very long. I know that’s supposed to be the way to go but she has not claimed it as her comfort zone as everyone has told me she would.
Although I’ve had to pass on the small kennels and dog houses I’ve picked up some nice water and food bowls from the stacks and stacks to choose from at Goodwill.
I’m still waiting for some toys, ropes and especially gates to come along but I’m pretty impressed with the items I’ve seen so far. Who knew Goodwill was for dogs too?
