Thursday is Dollar Day at Goodwill of Central Arizona and one sweltering Arizona summer day, I bought this sweater for $1 in hopes of one day making some sweater leggings.
I saw these adorable leggings on Pinterest and thought they were perfect for those cold winter days in Arizona. Aren’t they cute? Robyn made these leg warmers and she gives a simple step-by step-tutorial on her blog,The Farmer’s Nest, how to make them. She even goes beyond the socks and shares how she made a pillow, just like a certain high end home decor store. If you buy your sweater on Dollar Day, imagine how much your savings will be for the leggings and the pillow!
For now, I’m going to attempt to make these adorable leggings, then patiently wait for cooler weather. Wish me luck!
