Have you seen the price of decorative pillows lately?
Pillows with images of birds get me every time. I’m always drawn to brightly colored pillows and those with embroidered designs too. What I’m not drawn to, is the high prices. I’ve got people to feed and clothe so dropping major coin on some fancy colorful pillows ranks well below the categories of food, clothing or shelter.
It looks like Judy, a Goodwill Gal reader, shares my love for unique pillows but loves to feed her family even more (imagine that). After shopping Goodwill, Judy has found a way to do both! Now her family can sit and relax on their sectional with food in their tummies and a nice comfy pillow at their back.
Judy, you are one resourceful gal!

Dear Goodwill Gal,
I have been looking for some fun and affordable pillows for my new sectional and couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I decided to make my own. I visited Goodwill on a Thursday afternoon, (dollar day of course), and found 3 pillow forms, $1 each. I also found an animal print throw for $3. I decided to put both together to make my own unique pillows that I think look great on my couch, AND only cost me $6 for 3 pillows!
Thank you Goodwill!
Judy
