More organizing brought to you by my House of Goodwill…

I wrote about how this year, with a little help from GoodwillI, I plan on taming the paper beast who’s sitting on my desk. You can read about it HERE. Now, I’ve moved on to another eyesore which needed my attention, my kitchen counter.

There is a spot on the kitchen counter that is a magnet to all the phones, keys, receipts and coins in our pockets. Since it’s a natural place to set things on, I’m going to embrace the space, instead of trying to make a change to our habits.

So, look what I found to help me with my quest for organization, a phone charging station. $2.99 for a phone charging station at Goodwill? I’ll take it!

After a little clean up, I covered some scuffs with a black permanent marker then added a little sparkle to it with some shiny wrapping paper in the spot for photos. Now, there is a clear destination for our phones, keys and contents of my husbands pockets, on our kitchen countertop and it’s clean and presentable.

Goodwill of Central Arizona is making it so easy and affordable for me to get my House of Goodwill organized, I will really have no excuse for my messy ways.
