The weekends get so busy with sports activities and errands that I like the time we spend together as a family at home, even if it’s an hour or two, to be nice and relaxing.

Something as simple as lighting a fire and setting out the making of s’mores always make for a good time.

To set up the goodies, I used the Pottery Barn inspired 3 tier stand I made HERE.

In less than 5 minutes, I placed a small table within arm’s reach, laid a plaid throw blanket over it and placed the stand with fixings on top.

My work here was done.

After supper, the kids spent the entire evening chatting, laughing by the fire and taking s’more orders from the adults. It’s exactly as I had planned.

I used the same stand HERE to display treats for the kids and HERE as a nice centerpiece with flowers.

This stand was easy and very inexpensive to make with items from Goodwill. I’m tempted to make more, throw in some marshmallows, chocolate bars and graham crackers then hand them out as gifts for my friends to enjoy!
