A great recycling idea from The Goodwill Gal Inbox:
Hello Goodwill Gal,
I thought I would send you a project that I was inspired to do this week.
First, I love following you and your amazing projects. I am beginning to be able to walk through Goodwill and try to look at objects differently and imagine what they can be.
I bought a bookshelf on the day that yellow tags were half off. It was $6.51. I brought it home took the back off and placed it next to my other container garden (which was much more expensive). I filled it with compost and potting soil and marked off the square foot plots. Since I planted seeds, it will be awhile before you can see the final product. In the garden are chamomile, echinechea, fennel, anise, lettuce and spinach.
Last, I also could not pass up these containers that were also at Goodwill (they were purchased with my 20% off coupon). I splurged on the round one (It was 27.99), but I love it! The box with the lid was 11.99. They are going to have some pansies, kale, celery and maybe some daisies (depending on space).
