90 degrees or cooler in Phoenix and My House of Goodwill is slowly making a subtle transition into fall.
First stop: my kitchen table. I purchased this HUGE wooden bowl fromGoodwill of Central Arizona for $14.99 a couple of years ago.
Without a doubt, it’s my favorite Goodwill purchase of all time! It goes from winter to summer and now to fall without a hitch.

The piano my Mama bought at the Goodwill in Little Rock, Arkansas in the late ’60s. She saw it on the back of a truck before it ever went in the store. It was chartreuse green and in pretty bad shape, but my Dad completely refinished it and had all new keys put on. I learned to play on it and took it with me when I got married. It has been in my homes in St Louis, MO; Battle Creek, MI; Killeen, TX; Colona, IL and is now in York, PA. It’s a studio upright and a very nice piano.
